LOOK BANANA is a brand new art project, initiated by animation artist Noriko Okaku in October 2010.
The concept behind LOOK BANANA is to rebuild visual concept into shapes in 3D.
LOOK BANANA is premiering original visual work, “Hands Journey” by Noriko Okaku and Michi at OMG.
// NORIKO OKAKU //
Born in 1979 in Kyoto, Japan, Okaku is a media artist who now lives and works in London. Okaku was educated at the Chelsea College of Art and Design between 2000-2003 where she received her BA Hons and at the Royal College of Art, completing her MA in Animation in 2005.
Her video works have been shown internationally such as at Festival Images Contre Nature, France; Magmart International Videoart Festival, CAM, Italy; Garage Center for Contemporary Culture, Moscow.
She is also known as an audio-visual performance artist. She has performed internationally, most recently in 2010 at the Museum of Image and Sound, Brazil; Circuito Off, Italy; Cimatics, Belgium; Design Museum, London.

Michi is a Japanese artist living and working in London since 2001, she studied Product design at the Musashino Art University, Tokyo Japan.
Since she moved to UK, she has provided her art works to underground music scene such as Stereoart and Dom Mino.
Currently, works for Noriko Okaku and works and collaborates with LOOK BANANA.
